Although a convertible would be cool, too.

 | posted 07-20-1999 10:57 PM I just got a phone call from a guy who wants to sell me his mothers 66 7Liter car. One owner, dark blue with a white vinyl top, auto a/c car, with minimal rust. Does not run. It's not far away so I will try to go and look at it tomorrow. The price is right!!!! Just what I need.....another project!!!! Alex

 | posted 07-21-1999 09:03 AM Deke,
Saw a pair of them 2 weeks ago at a local cruise-in. A '60 and a '61, both red, both packing 427 8BBL's, and both wearing American Torque Thrusts. We have several of them in the Cumming/Dawsonville area, but they seldom come out. They are really nice looking cars. I'd love to have an original '60 with the 360HP 352 4BBL. The only '62s with the Starliner roof were the NASCAR "Starlifts" that got approved for about two races. They never saw real production. Dwayne IP: |

 | posted 08-22-1999 11:23 PM Made a 400 mile round trip to the Chatanooga Tn Mustang and Ford show this weekend, had three orgasisms lookin at one car, 66 7 litre, Bronze with brown vinyl top, unrestored, but looked showroom new. A 70 year old lady owned it, bought it new, husband died, her older brother shows it.
 Absolutely beautiful.

! It was a 500XL 390 car with a 428 transplant. It wasn't really worth the trouble to even bring it home. Alex ------------------Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator
