Can anybody suggest which mufflers I should use on a 289-4bbl that will be producing around 300 horse  . also I really need alot of advice on which internal parts I need to get a 289-4bbl to produce around 300 horse. Please look at my other ad titled :NEED INFO FOR BUILDING A 289 : I am fairly new at this , but , willing to learn. thnx.....john.....  65 2+2 fastback & 68 coupe

Headers to 2 1/2" exhaust with Flowmasters, IMHO. Everyone has their favorite muffler sound though, you should listen to a few before deciding. SteveW

Nice Steve thats my chioce too.Dont forget the 2.5"H-pipe.You can listen to all you want, but the Flows sound the best.But thats what I have so I maybe one sided. SCOOP.
