Wow just what I don't need, another old Ford that I miss greatly. I had one of the 60 Starliners back when they were almost new. I would really like to have one again so I am going to have to ask about price and condition. If these old cars keep coming back to tempt me I'm going to have to get a better job.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a Starliner as compared to a Sunliner? A retractable?I'd like to find a Galaxie vert some day. IP: 208.194.207.40 |

JoeA Starliner is the big 2 door Ford with a very streamlined roof. They were only made in 1960 and 1961 and I think they were the prettiest big Fords ever made with the possible inclusion of the 1963 with the fastback roof. IP: 216.160.188.198 |

I like the 66 more than the 65 myself. It was in my oppinion a nice refinment of the 65. The 7 litre option was a very neat package too. That nasty rear fender curve and those funky tail lights... Saw a '66 or '67 Galaxie 390 Fastback? the other day and I alomst cried!, The guy pulls into the local Covenience store, and when he shuts the car off, Antifreeze just Gushes out under the car, then he comes back out an drives off..... one of those Idiots you just wanna smack upside the head and say "What the HELL are you thinking!!!!" (I'll admit the '66-'67 Fastback style look ok, if not a little too Impalaish, but the '65 Hardtop and Convert are still plain Beautifull , I even like the Custom 500 4-doors ). (I'm gonna be sick...... Theres a Late model hugger orange Crapmero Convertabletoilet with a white top outside the store , good, it let ) https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Fordfan.html (ok, the pic suck, but that is a Beauty!, Oh, pay no mind to that Nissan in the back ground, or our 454-powered Winnebago ) ------------------ Joseph J Shaffer IV Walla Walla, WA '68 Mustang Coupe, 2.79 gears. Wow, this is kind of fun. Why don't we start a poll about which of the big Fords is the nicest looking. Of course I would have to vote for 60 ,61 Starliners, 63 & 65 fastbacks. Hmm maybe the 62 and 64's also. Of course I also like the 57. Gee I guess I like most of the big Fords prior to 77. Don't even get me started on the intermediate and small Fords. If I had a million, it would be gone soon but I would own about 50 more cars.IP: 216.160.188.198 |

66 Black 7 Litre Hardtop with white interior is my favorite big car I think. Very little chrome trim and fast too! Simply gorgeous.
