I had a friend with a 71 429 CJ 4-speed Yellow convert just like that who bracket raced it a US 30 dragstrip in Gary In. every Sunday. It ran low 14's with cheater slicks and a tune up. Stock otherwise. Man...those were the days, 16 years old, 40 cent premium fuel, and hot cars. WOW! Alex
