Hi everyone! I'm not one of you but a friend has a newer mustang and she had me check it. When accelerating up to 45 it makes a clicking noise outside front passenger side. Only forward movement and with the clutch in gear. It's got 82k miles but seems in good shape. I'm just generally guessing it's the clutch but I'm hoping one of you knows exactly what this is. Help! Thanks. Please email me as soon as possible with suggestions.

Welcome aboard.
My first thought was something stuck in the tire that was clicking, but you say it doesn't make the clicking noise if the clutch is not engaged? Interesting. I'll have a look in some of the manuals and see what I can come up with. Someone else might know this off the top of their heads.

Stop by Sam's Place and introduce yourself to the gang. It's warm and friendly and you'll meet all kinds of interesting folks.
