So, I bought the '94, but it does not have an owner's manual. I know that I can purchase one from my local dealership, but thought I would help the site out and look in Amazon.com first. Can't quite figure out all the functions of my stereo system (a very important factor!!).Sorry, can't find it there. Any suggestions??? ------------------ True Ford Blue Blood 1970 Mustang Coupe, the SheStang (my baby!!) 1964 Fairlane Sedan, gonna get it on the road one of these days. Maybe I'll paint it like a Mayberry Police Car!! 1994 Taurus, the MommyMobile (nuthin' else to say, so UNCOOL!! But got A/C) :) Ked just bought her a '94 Mustang GT Convertible.... Oh, Yeah!! Now, that is tooooo cooooool!! IP: 207.4.28.160 |

If you can give me an idea of what you want to know, I'll check my '00 manual. Perhaps the functions haven't changed too much and what I have can at least point you in the right direction.------------------ Joe C. 2000 V6 Convertible IP: 207.172.142.42 |

Yea, I got the Mach 460! Sometimes, I can put a cd in and it'll play right away. Other times it clicks and clicks like it can't read it. Thought it might need cleaning or something. Anyhow, guess I'll go by and order a manual later. Thanks.IP: 207.4.28.160 |

It's really weird, Mike. If I play a cd for a while, it's no problem to switch it out with a new cd. But, if I don't for a day or two, then it acts like it can't read the cd. I have found if I use the "compress" button on a cd, it'll play. What is the compress button for?????? Is this the answer to my problem???? IP: 209.138.58.30 |

That's a problem the CD players have. We've replaced one under warranty in our '97 Probe, and my former co-worker replaced one in his '99 Mustang. What's maddening is when a CD gets stuck and won't come out or go in. I had to use a credit card to push the CD in far enough for the mechanism to grab it. ------------------ SteveLaRiviere/Administrator MCA # 47773 '72 Mustang Sprint 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac-Lok '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip '97 Probe GTS 2.5L DOHC/CD4E IP: 64.208.64.53 |

but sometimes I can't eject the cd. It's pretty frustrating. It'll give up on playing the cd, then the radio will come on, then all of a sudden it'll try to play the cd again. I thought the cd player itself might need to be cleaned. I mean, I have a portable one at work that I play them in and also one at home. Guess a "certified audio tech" is the only person who can do that????? IP: 209.138.40.196 |

Sorry I can't be much assistance with the Mach 460...I don't have one. Mine was already equipped with an aftermarket radio/CD. Bad thing about my current setup is that I can only turn the volume up half way before the speakers start overloading. I guess a good quality stereo and speaker setup should be added to my list of mods.Oh yeah, I've noticed that if your CD is dirty or scratched, the player will either jump or not read it as a "music" cd and kick it out. Deoends on the player I guess. Mike P.S. Speaking of CD's...I just popped AC/DC Highway To Hell into the Laptop. Not bad for itty-bitty speakers.

Me too! The speakers on my laptop are only about 3/4 of an inch each. Can't really get good sound out of them. Although its fine when your sitting on the deck late at night with a beer and M&M forums. I sat out there til 2am chatting with JoeClutch and Tempo in the ICQ and posting to the forums.Mike IP: 38.30.188.128 |

Please tell me they behaved themselves!! I mean, they did'nt try to "adopt" any jailbait in Daddy's car (ummmm, can I say that here??? Oh, well, guess I just did!!). Of course I know you would'nt partake in such shenanigans.....

Ked, Everyone behaved and I learned some things about ICQ. Up to that point, I had never used it. A nice young lady popped in just to say hi before she went out for the evening. She drove a beemer, so there wasn't much Ford talk happening. There was no overt attempt to turn the room into a pick-up area, so all was well.Anyhow, I think it adds a new twist to the M&M experience. It definitely comes in handy for rapid interactions. No waiting for posted responses. I don't think that we will ever replace the forums with it since we are all on different "online" schedules. Mike P.S. I would never even think about doing something like that IP: 4.16.186.242 |

If anyone is interested you can go out to www.helminc.com and obtain everything from owner's manuals to shop manuals and electrical diagrams. I don't know what the owner's manual goes for but the shop manual (two rather large books) goes for $130 and the electrical diagrams are $53. The information is much more in depth than anything you'll see in a Chilton's manual from the auto parts store.------------------ Joe C. 2000 V6 Convertible IP: 63.66.112.63 |
