The best way I have found to get the tint off, is to buy a box of straight edge razor blades, and scrape on !!------------------ Mike Cyclone's Famous Fords http://www.geocities.com/cyclone_427 ------------------------- 65 Cyclone 351W -current project 65 Caliente 200ci - parts car 88 Ranger 2.3 - Daily driver 90 M'Stang GT-AOD IP: Logged |

Yes, buy some straight edge razors and get a soapy water solution. Start at one corner and try and get it to start peeling off spraying the soapy water on the edge you are peeling.------------------ Tim 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 ci w/ a Holley 2300, Clifford header, and true duals w/ 26" Smithys http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html IP: Logged |

If you have rear defrost dont cut the lines with your razor blades, and get straight ammonia to spray to get the sticky glue off. Before you re-tint check each line in your rear defrost for continuity. or you may tint it and find later that one line on your window won't defrost and you can't fix it without removing the tint------------------ 69 Mustang Sports roof 89 Mustang GT Hatchback 99 Mustang GT Coupe 93 Mustang LX 5.0 -(my Husbands, I told him to get his own) IP: Logged |
