Hey Mike, Thanks for stopping by this side of the site. If you have a chassis shop anywhere near you, you can have the welding done. I know that most of the aftermarket companys make a header for the 460 in a fox bodied car. The only question is in the Flange bolt pattern on the heads. If you are unable to come up wth anything in a day or 2, I'll do some digging. I would try contacting Hooker, Total Performance, and Headman and just explain what you have and what you need. Most manufactures will help all they can when questions are asked.Tony. IP: 209.240.200.103 |

Back in about 1990 I toyed with the Idea of putting a 460 into a Thunderbird that I had and I have two Super Ford mags Dec 1990, and Feb 1991 that show it being done. In there was a company called Kaufman Products that has a 460 into a fox body kit and they had headers. Had a friend buy some stuff there for his 80 mustang. Don't know if still there, here is the number: 310-803-5531 It's in Downey, California. Hope this might help. [This message has been edited by Tyler Hinck (edited 03-05-2000).] IP: 63.252.137.14 |

Here's a link to Kaufmann's page for Mustang swap kits. I'm sure you can talk them into selling you headers, too. http://www.kaufmannproducts.com/mustangs.htm ------------------ SteveLaRiviere/Administrator '72 Mustang Sprint 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac-Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip '97 Probe GTS 2.5L DOHC/CD4E IP: 209.222.81.100 |

Hi there. We put a 351W into a 80 mustang this past year. FUN was a word I didn't hear much. Seems like I heard more four letter words. But seriously, We ordered super competition Hooker's. They were suppose to fit but it was more like a "make it fit" proposition. We had to "slightly" modify the motor mount brackets to get them in there and other various beating and banging took place. But hey, they're in there and it rocks like a champ. Michelle Ladyracer IP: 152.163.201.83 |
