I mean at home in a regular kitchen with normal cooking aids and or and electric frying pan? Most of us are not equipped like Emiril LaGasi or Wolfgang Puck. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00 & '01 Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

fry them then dip them in a mixture of melted butter and la. hot sause. even better if you grill them on charcoal, not quite as good if you bake them. but either way will work. send me one! ps: a little honey mixed in wont hurt a thing!------------------ mike r racing is real everything else is just a game. 81 capri-7.56 @88mph 1/8 1.56 60 ft. Well if I wanted some from Hooters I would go and get some from Hooters, but I want to make them at home. Apparently we don't have any good "wing chef's" on M&M! Thanks KK. One questions though? How come no flower? Most of the Buffalo wing recipes that I have seen use flower as a breading. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00 & '01 Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

if you want to bread them dust them around in some flour before ya cook 'em.....i just like them without the coating! you can do the marinade and then use "shake and bake" if you dare!!! have FUN!!!!

Ew...I'm not too fond of the breaded type of wings. Wings with the sauce coating...those are the best...to me, anyway. ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project

No Frank, you use the sauce with the breading so they are a bit crunchier. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00 & '01 Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link [This message has been edited by Moneymaker (edited 12-17-2001).]

1 cup flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon paprika 20 chicken wings or chicken drumsticks 1/2 cup butter or light butter 1/2 cup hot sauce 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 Combine flour, salt, cayenne pepper, and paprika in bowl. 2 Coat chicken pieces in dry mixture. 3 Reserve leftover mixture. 4 Refrigerate coated chicken at least 1 hour. 5 Coat chicken in leftover flour mixture. 6 In a saucepan, heat butter, hot sauce, pepper, and garlic powder just until butter melts, then keep warm. 7 Deep fry chicken, 10 pieces at a time, in 375 degree oil for 13 minutes. 8 Drain chicken on paper towels. 9 Immediately place chicken in Tupperware bowl. 10 Pour half the hot sauce mixture over chicken (first 10 pieces). 11 Cover and toss to coat. 12 Repeat with second batch of chicken. 13 Wings can be frozen and reheated in 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. 14 NOTES : Use ranch or blue cheese dressing as a dip for these fabulous wings. This is the Hooter's recipe

That sounds like the ones that I make but the recipe that I would really like to get is from my wife?s friend?s mother. She marinades them in garlic and a bunch of other good stuff but she said the recipe would go to the grave with her.

It's not that the guys are no help....we just type slow.3 oz.Louisiana hot sauce 1/2 stick margarine(not butter) 1 tablespoon white vinegar 1/8 teaspoon Celery seed 1/8-1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon red pepper 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt dash of pepper 1-2 teaspoon Tobasco sauce Mix all ingredients in a small sauce pan over low heat until the margarine is melted. Stir occasionally. This makes enough for about 30 wings. The wings: Fry the wings in a deep fryer set at 375 degrees using vegetable or peanut oil (Mobile-1 tastes NASTY) About 15 wings at a time for 12-15 min. works well. Drain the wings for a few minutes then put them in a bowl. After all the wings have been fried, pour the sauce over them, cover the bowl and shake to completely coat the wings. They can be eaten now or put on a baking sheet and put in the oven for a few minutes to get the extra crispy coating. Serve with Beer or Scotch (single malt 12 year old MINIMUM thank you) :D :D :D :D :D :D Jay :D :D :D :D :D :D
