Moneymaker! You should know how sensitive us Mustang II guys are. I used to get really mad when people made fun of the II, but as I age (27 yesterday) I begin to understand. My employee at my speed shop has spent countless hours transforming his 93 MX6 into a sport compact super hero. To me a MX6 is a chick car! (in my mind it always will be.) I supose thats what II's are to old guys, (like you) To me the II was my 18 year old Mustang dream. I could at this point buy a new Mustang, if I wanted to, but the fun I had, the memories, I have of the Mustang II will never fade. I guess thats why I have spent a stupid amount of time, money and energy on my II. Guy's Moneymaker is joking! Relax Build and drive what you love. Moneymaker loves Falconstangs we love Pintostangs and many, many people love Fairmontstangs.....

Hey Twister, don't be a party pooper. We're all just trying to have some fun here. That's why we started this site in the first place. I love ALL FoMoCo's (even dueces) When I see this forum dormant for a few days I make a post or two just to "wake" everyone up. After that the activity ALWAYS picks up considerably. It's not as popular as some of the other forums on M&M, but we have probably the BEST Mustang II forum and member following on the web. My sarcasim is never meant to be malicious and "most" everyone realizes that. If I got all wound up every time someone rags about classic vs late model Fox cars I'd never smile. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00 & '01 Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

Now, come on Sleeper, you know that's not quite fair. It's not like he wasn't asking for it, the boy was being a dumba** (notice I didn't say he IS a dumba**) and he got nailed for it. This growing politically correct crap of everyone having to be nicey nice just allows those who seriously need a good dope smack to excape. Since Glenn learnt there are 'consiquences' to intentionally yanking someones chain he's turned into a pretty nice guy. Now, knowing this Wart charactor pretty well (fact is, I see him in every mirror) I can say he finds obfuscation intollerable, and if someone wants to yank the tail of this Tiger they had better hold on pretty tight.

My .02c, 1) Mark (Wart,Twister) does have a sense of humor and already knows spelling is not his forte. 2) Alex comes in here pretending to be the typical (to the long time owners) "classic" owning, II hating 'stanger. Humorous? By some opinions. 3) M&M being the best II forum on the net? I don't agree (illusion). Stangnet has more traffic and is easier to post pics. At least over there flames are flames and not "jokes"

Looks like this is going to be another "my site is better than yours" war. It was bad enough with the mustangii.org and the mustangii.net battle. Yeah, Stangnet may have more traffic, but quantity over quality does not impress me. The "kill" posts and polls about your favorite color, band, actor, etc does not make a great site. Neither does the post that flames another user of the forum. Stangnet has a lot to offer outside of the forum arena. It is impressive to read some of those stories. I, for one, do not compare sites for the "who is better" title. Each site has their strong and their weak points. I have been with Mustangsandmore and Stangnet since 1999. I don't post very often at Stangnet because I don't like having to wear a flame suit because of my opinion.Alex does make a few cracks about the Mustang II, but he does lend a lot of good advice as well. It is one thing to flame, it is another thing to be helpful. I have seeen the posts that ragged Glenn (and you thought Alex was bad) - like none of you were young and thought you knew everything. I can imagine that you had your moments that you were shown up by someone older and wiser than you. Don't bring your high-horse attitudes here. Keep them in Stangnet and let Mike worry with it. You wonder why the Mustang II does not command respect? It is because of the childish attitudes a lot of Mustang II owners carry with them. Act like a punk kid and be ready to treated like one. George,I could not agree more with you.I dont have a mustang II,but I do love cars. All shapes and sizes,I read the II site every time I'm on the M&M site. There is alot dam good info going around in here. It's more hard for you guys to build and restore the II's then alot of the classic's.I like to read how you guys get around the shortage of parts. As George knows from talking to him before I like the II's they were and still are a part of the Mustang history.I'm glad that there are people out there that like these cars.So that way every generation can see all years of the Mustang. As for spelling there is not one of you that spells worst then I do.And I have yet to every have any one put that in my face. As for Alex,he's one funny guy.If you dont think he's funny then dont read his posts. He has the same style on all area's in the Race, classic, sams place ect... I think its great to have Alex around to share his knowledge with us. But there are also many others on here too. That know alot about Fords,I think of M&M has a place to come and learn and share with others who really care about what you have to say.Stagnet I'm on that one too and have been there longer then here. But they have way to many young guys who believe if you dont have the lastest and greatest then or nothing. When the traffic gets slow on here I go to Pic's pages.I love seeing real live cars, not those high dollar garage throphys. Well I can't say enough good things about this site.SCOOP ------------------ 65 coupe,351w,RPM intake,Carter625,shorty headers,2.5 exhaust, Flowmasters,C4,open 8" 2:80,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,Crager SS,Black Suede. Not enough action here, so I go to stangnet to see the opinonated pull rank on the obtuse. I grow angry, come back home to mustangsandmore to relax and share a common intrest with my fellow stangers. Well I used to anyway I hoped to meet people with a common interest in racing Mustang II's, but no one seems to do much with them. I used to look forward to the new postings, but now it's like a supermarket tabloid at the check-out, I just have to look, like a car wreck.............------------------ 1978 Muscletang II t-top mach 1 1991 Lincoln mark 7 1997 Escort wagon type R [email protected]

Can't we all get along? It's Christmas! I like these cars as much as any other Ford product, but the only common thread I see over here is usually a piss contest. Why not use this space more constructively? Like sharing your project's peeves, pitfalls or triumphs. Show us your problems and your solutions around them. I can sympathize with your crowd. Sometimes the only parts around are the broken ones you have. You just have to improvise or repair to the best of your ability. Just because your parts aren't readily available doesn't make the car less desirable. These cars have a 5 year production,no? Lots of cars to pick from, total production about 1,107,718. My car? 72 base Torino coupe. Sole year for this design, with a production of about 60,000 units. Try to find a grill for one! NADA. But I persue on, with a patch job and hopes of finding one someday! So let's move on,and show us your best face! [This message has been edited by MLariviere (edited 12-23-2001).]

John,my 351w is mostly stock.I feel that the 2.5 will give me little more lower rpm power. The 3"sounds better and would have been better if I had head work and a cam.I think that 2.5 would work fine up to about 450hp.I also got the 3 chamber flowmasters for free they are 2.5 so I went with the 2.5 all the way to the axle and there they turn down.Man that made one big difference in preformance the 2.5 exh,and the headers and a H-pipe.In hind sight I sould have gone with the 3" now so I dont have to redo it later.I really like the sound from the flowmasters. My pops says they sound like exh, going thur a trash can. From what I've they make as good of power as the others. So I'd say pick the ones you like the sound of and go with the 2.5 all the way thur the exhaust. If it's top end your after then go for the 3". Did you read the exhaust info that was posted in the race area about 2 weeks ago.If not find because it has lots of good info. SCOOP
