i need direction on purchasing a replacement top for the 69 kat. she has the folding glass window. i have seen many catalogues with replacements, but i would like to hear some voices of experience with different vendors QUALITY.i dont want to end up with something a vendor classifies as "best" and it be thin and tender.... i suspect there are members out there who have shopped for stang tops and can share with me who had what and how satisfied you are with it. any guidance will be appreciated. i have heard "Robbins" makes a good product, but know nothing about them. guess i am going web-browsing!! thanks! kaylin IP: Logged |

Kaylin, I have shopped for new Vert tops and found that using a local shop is best..if needed they can customize the top for you.We had a 91 Mustang vert that need a new top..I wanted red to match the interior...They didn't come in red so I checked with a loacl shop and for a mear $1100 they would make and install one..we bought a new 95 vert instead sam IP: Logged |

for 65-68; convertibles, have used , electron, easyon and crown. in our opinion robbins is the best. we put a black one on a 68 and it was a bit heavier and had an excellent fit. it's not to say that the others weren't ok but robbins just seemed a cut better.(no pun intended)IP: Logged |
