I am leaving for Orlando Fla. in a couple of weeks. We are doing the obligatory Disney World experience, but I want to get in some car stuff too. How about the Mark Martin Museum in Daytona? I'll be ther for about 8 days so I would like to get in as much of a vacation as I can. How long does it take to get through the Garlits complex? Thanks  Alex------------------

I don't know how long it takes to go through the Garlits museum Alex, but I have heard that it is a "must see." I believe that it is in Ocala. If that's the case, Ocala has some nice natural sights to see like the National Forest and the natural springs that can either swim in (their cold!), or you can take glass-bottom boat rides.IP: 209.240.200.123 |

I thought you already knew.Its the largest weekly car cruise in America.Every Sat. night its a gathering of 72 and older cars(about 2-3 hundred with this weather) which park on display and then ride through a strip of shops called old town at 8:30.A lot of street rods,a few shelbys and many muscle cars.If you are gong to Disney then its a must! Go to Old Town for the Saturday Night Cruise!! It's well worth the trip. Also, if You go to Ocala, don't forget that National Parts Depot has a New Depot there!! Exit 69 off of I-75. Can't miss it. Old Town and NPD will definatly be on our list of places to visit. We will be in the Orlando area from the 14th thru the 21st of October. We will be staying at a time share right near Disney world. I have no buisness plans whatsoever Mike, just want to relax and have some fun. Maybe we can get together? Alex------------------

The show is at the Dolphin Hotel at Disney's boardwalk. I think I'm in the Marriott World Center, but I'm not sure yet. WE can hook up for dinner and drinks on Tuesday(17th) or Wednesday(18th) night that would be great!
