Free burials for people who drink, drive and die on New Year's Eve A Wisconsin undertaker is offering to bury people free of charge if they drink and drive on New Year's Eve and die as a result. Doug Seefeld says they have to die instantly or by June 30 of injuries suffered in a crash while driving drunk in Winnebago County between certain times. He says he's trying to make people think twice. He told The Post-Crescent: "It just seems every year at this time some unfortunate choices are made by some folks." His offer applies to people who crash between 6pm on December 31 and 11.59pm on January 1. Kari On-kels, state executive director for the Wisconsin Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving, said: "It's a great attention-getter, but I worry somebody may take him up on it." Mr Seefeld, from Oshkosh, said anyone who wants to take advantage of the offer must sign a form before 6pm on New Year's Eve. It says: "I intend to exceed the legal limits of alcohol intoxication as defined by the State of Wisconsin and to operate a vehicle while impaired. I understand that while operating a vehicle while incapacitated, I am endangering my life and the lives of innocent people. "Should I become involved in an automobile collision and come to my death as a result, I desire Seefeld Funeral Chapel to provide my funeral at no charge pursuant to the following stipulations." The offer is worth about $4,500 (��,104) and includes a basic steel casket, concrete container for a burial vault and other services.

WOW,thats one way to make a point.
We should over free beds to any one who drink and is having sex too.And if they pass away in the middle of it,the other one gets a free bed.

Scoop...That could be made very simply..The one who passes away automatically falls out of the bed...!!(That's your punishment for drinking...) It probably happens all the time... [This message has been edited by Mustang Tally (edited 12-23-2001).]
