Sandy gets induced tomorrow. I should have my boy by tomorrow evening. She's 3 cms dialated, so they're just going to "push her over the edge" tomorrow morning. That means we should all be home come Sunday. Time enough to watch my GRRLs open their gifts from Santa Tuesday!!

Oh Goody!!! what a great Christmas Present for the whole family!!!!

(you'll find that when you have a child with a birthday so close to Christmas, you will tend to over compensate.... we do anyway.....)

Well, now that I've announced it, the inevitable has happened. Induction is now moved until after Christmas. 12/26 is our new date. Sandy has some sniffles, so they decided to wait out her cold so as not to expose him so soon after birth. Probably a good decision. 'course now that I've posted this, she'll go naturally on Friday.........

OH WoW! I'm sooooo excited for you and Sandy! Sorry for the delayed delivery, but I concur it is a good idea to wait.
Of course babies often decide for themselves when they'll arrive.
Maybe you'll still have the tax deduction.

Keep the little gem away from folks with sniffles and make everyone wash their hands before touching!

David,
That is great news! Congrats to you and Sandy. Of course waiting is a pain in the arse. But you have waited this long, so whats a couple of more days?? But then again, Mr. Murphy could always strike as you have suggested. Hang in there and please gives us all a birth announcement when you have time.

LOL!! Yeah, you will have a busy Christmas. But, at least you're expecting it!!! I was not expecting my daughter until at least January 4th!!! I woke up on the 26th of Dec. at about 4:00 a.m. to go to the bathroom. I went much longer than I thought I needed to go. Went back to bed and told my husband that I thought my water mighta broke... He told me to wake him up when I knew for sure!!! I went back to sleep, but woke up again to go to the bathroom at 6:00 a.m. This time, there was no doubt about it...my water had broken. I got him up and took a shower, then tried to call my Mom. She had already left to come to my house to celebrate Christmas with us. That's a 2 1/2 hour drive. Well, four hours later, at ten minutes before noon, with contractions six to seven minutes apart, I told Tom, "we'll wait until noon". Just as we were getting ready to leave for the hospital (at noon) Mom pulls up. Of all days, she decided to take her time coming to my house and hit all the flea markets, yard sells, etc. on her way down!! She gets outta her car, and I say, "Mom, I'm in labor, we're going to the hospital" (a neighbor was going to keep my son until Mom got there). Mom said, "What???? Don't you want to open your Christmas presents??" LOL!!!

Our beautiful daughter was born the next morning at 8:40 a.m. 12/27/94 and I opened my christmas presents for the year of 1994 later that afternoon. She was the best present of all!! (the little stinker that she is!!)

Keep us updated on your boy!! And Merry Christmas to you and all of your family!
