Alex, Eat more refried beans and burritos with lots of hot sauce/hot peppers. Don't forget the deviled eggs and coleslaw to go with it. Next day, break out the zippo lighter, light it and hold it an inch or two from your personal exhuast pipe. Then let fly. Guranteed to scare the heck out of the neighbors, amaze the neighborhood kids and melt snow. i am totally with lyle on this one!!!! i too have some pictures of snow! i had time to take the pictures of the snow because our state shuts-down at the mere mention of the white stuff!!! its great!!! you can be a grown-up and still get snow-days from the office!!! we dont know how to drive in this sh*t ...and if we do, we are not telling anyone.... cause then it means we have to show up for work even when nobody else in the department can make it in!! so you just play stupid and stay home!!! ITS GREAT FUN!!! kk "i dont care if the interstate is clear, it takes me 15 minutes thru hilly country roads to get to the interstate...if you want me to work today... YOU are welcome to come and pick me up." (and of course they never do....)

You guys need to learn how to make the winter a fun time! I went skiing today, the sun was shining bright, the snow cold and light, had my new ski equipement on, and got out of the grey valley. Last Monday I went Steelhead fishing in the snow and caught five, plus Coho. I take my daughter and my sister's kids and whoever else out sleaghriding, build a fire and have hotdogs for the kids, beer for the adults. It's dark by 4:00PM here right now so I turn my two 500watt quartz halogen lights at right angles in the back yard to play in the snow making snowmen and stuff. Its too easy to not do anything. Dave

O.K., Stewwie, I stand corrected!!! Actually, when I heard that there had been a snow storm in Reno a few weeks ago I called Gail in Quincy, CA (where I had froze my butt off for a week in June) and told her that it felt like summer in Quincy here!

FROZE my arse off in June no less. A week before our trip to Reno I called and said, "so, how's the weather??", "oh, we had triple digits this week". Ha!! By the following week, they didn't. My thin southern gal blood just didn't know how to handle that shock to the system!! Good thing I went prepared!
