It was suggested that I come to Sam's Place and intoduce myself.
I have owned a lot of cars from beaters to sports cars, american and forign. I still get the most enjoyment(and tickets) out of my first car- my 65 fastback. Looking to upgrade to a 351w in it and found this great site. Also restoring a 65 GT Fastbaack with my grandfather(original owner).Only thing left on this one is the interior.
Live in LA so if there is anyone that can recomend a group or club I would like to get grandpa involved into something to keep him out of trouble.ha ha

Welcome to M&M David. It's fun even when you start losing focus on the things you're supposed to do because you're "talking" to FRIENDS on the net.

A big welcome from the Great NOrthwest David!!
Not sure which section of LA you live in, but I lived in Huntington Beach for quite a few years and know there is a Mustang club there (Beach Cities Mustang Club I think). If too far away, get ahold of the nearest Mustang parts house and they'll be able to steer you right (like California Mustang in Industy, Larry's in Fullerton, National Parts Depot in Ventura Or Mustang Ranch in Paramount). Any one of them can help locate a club close to you.
And drop by here often and enjoy the company!!

Welcome David to M&M
I am a formerly from the LA area and now live in S.B. For parts check out Classic Auto in Pico Rivera, they have a good selection of new and used stuff.
As for clubs...I never went looking to join them to much critics on modifying my stang.

Look for next April when Knox Berry Farm will host Fab Fords Forever Show, it's big and has an awesome turnout!!

Hey David, I'm not sure what part of LA you are from but So Cal Wild Stallions is having a cruise on Sat dec 22 at 10:30 am. Check the mustangworld.com in the forum area. They have an events forum. I have only met 1 member at a mustang shop in Rancho Cucamonga and he seemed pretty nice. I may try to get to that In-n-Out on Sat and see how they are. You might want to check it out. Bring your pops too.
