It was suggested that I come to Sam's Place and intoduce myself. I have owned a lot of cars from beaters to sports cars, american and forign. I still get the most enjoyment(and tickets) out of my first car- my 65 fastback. Looking to upgrade to a 351w in it and found this great site. Also restoring a 65 GT Fastbaack with my grandfather(original owner).Only thing left on this one is the interior. Live in LA so if there is anyone that can recomend a group or club I would like to get grandpa involved into something to keep him out of trouble.ha ha

You mean that I'm supposed to be working here rather then tlaking to all of you. Welcome,From the other part of Nevada.David I'm kinda new here too,but these people are very funny, helpful, warm, caring and giving. They do tend to forget what they started to talking about and end up on a whole new subject.

A big welcome from the Great NOrthwest David!! Not sure which section of LA you live in, but I lived in Huntington Beach for quite a few years and know there is a Mustang club there (Beach Cities Mustang Club I think). If too far away, get ahold of the nearest Mustang parts house and they'll be able to steer you right (like California Mustang in Industy, Larry's in Fullerton, National Parts Depot in Ventura Or Mustang Ranch in Paramount). Any one of them can help locate a club close to you. And drop by here often and enjoy the company!!------------------ Duane 71 Fastback (his) under resto (351C-4V C6 auto) 73 Mach 1 (hers) (351CJ 4 speed) 66 289/2V coupe (daughter Ashley's) 89 LX 2.3 convertible (daughter Amanda's) M & M Member #730

Hey David, I'm not sure what part of LA you are from but So Cal Wild Stallions is having a cruise on Sat dec 22 at 10:30 am. Check the mustangworld.com in the forum area. They have an events forum. I have only met 1 member at a mustang shop in Rancho Cucamonga and he seemed pretty nice. I may try to get to that In-n-Out on Sat and see how they are. You might want to check it out. Bring your pops too.------------------ joe 2001 SVT Cobra 68 GT Fastback 98 F-150 90 Escort GT (smokes the tires in all 5 gears, or just smokes through all gears)
