Mom came over today to bring me some broth after my surgery. We got talking, and, for some reason she brought up that I was ( at times ) a rotten kid way back when. She brought up an instance that I had quite frankly forgotten about. I was 9 years old , and , I had been blamed for stealing our neighbours tractor ( born & raised on a farm in northern British Columbia ), I did not steal the tractor that time, did it when I was 7, the stigma stuck. I got a pretty good lickin from mom & dad, had to apologize to the crotchtey old farmer Dugan, and , had to re-paint all the scratches on the old pile of crap. It finally came out , about 2 months later that I was innocent this time. The real culpret was found out and dealt with. Now mom & dad felt bad and apologized to me, farmer Dugan refused to apologize, and , said that I probably deserved the lickin for something that I got away with. I got real pissed off as only a 9 year old can. It was time for my revenge, farmer Dugan had a few cows and a bull that he kept on the farm for breeding. Well I went and got my trusty straight shootin pellet gun and was on my way. Now you have to understand that I was 9 and very, very pissed off at farmer Dugan. I snuck into his holding pen where the bull and cows were, when a bull has his back end towards you a very, easy target presents itself ( both of them ). These two grapefruit size targets were just hangin there, and , you can guess what I did next. I have never heard a bull make a sound like that before or ever after. He ran right through the holding pen fence and kept going. When farmer Dugan got him back about 2 or 3 days later, the grapefruits were the size of small water-mellons. I now feel bad for the bull , but , not for farmer Dugan. I got the worst lickin of my life for that one, and ,lost the use of all my guns for 1 month. It was well worth it, never piss off a 9 year old . john ------------------ 65 2+2 FASTBACK 68 COUPE 87 TAURUS WAGON 98 F150 XLT 4 WHEEL DRIVE Member: Vancouver Island Mustang Association M&M #1710 MyPhotoPage

When my brothers & I were growing up we had a real nasty neighbor. We used to like to run in their yard if our ball went in the yard to get it back. Well the neighbor used to come running out of his house all pissed off yelling & cursing at us, so he looked funny with his face all red yelling at us so we would laugh at him & that would piss him off some more so he would yell more & his face would get redder. It would be a vicious circle. It was funny as a young kid. ROF......... I had a neighbor who answered her phone "W E R K Radio is #1" so she could win some prize. I made 2 recordings on my cassette player. One of the DJ saying a woman won and one of a woman losing. Then I called her up (lol) She didn't say "W....." so I switched tapes and played the loser tape! I never told her but she talked about it for months!

Oh! J-M...You were a naughty little boy...Are you still that naughty? Poor "Bully"..(or did it become "Betsy") Anyway, no one appreciates being blamed for something they did not do...My brother, then about 10 years old, was accused of stealing a younger boy's little wagon. When my Mom heard about it, she was really ticked off...she walked over to the neighbor's house(about 1/4 mile away)and gave her "what for"...assured her that we didn't steal and my brother had never even been over to their house... Now, you'd have to have known my mom to appreciate this true story!! She was a sweetheart, but no one and I mean NO ONE mistreated her children!! She was a proud, pioneer like woman and she & Dad lived a hard life during the depression...but her legacy was passed on to all of us...Thank GOD! Old-Timey-Tally

I was a rotten kid. As a matter of fact, the reason I don't have kids is that I don't want to take the chance of having a kid like me. ------------------
