Had surgery on my teeth today, 21 year old injury from boxing. Face is fat, sore and full of stiches. Can only have clear fluids for the next seven days , and , I love to eat. The starter in the taurus just pooched today, the t.v. in the bedroom went pffftt today. The f150 blew a coolent line, anti freeze all over the place, and , one pissed off wife. She was driving both vehicles today when they decided to join the twilight zone, and , just to top off the day, the cat puked all over the living room carpet. This really is one sh#*#y day. How was yours?

Spent all day cleaning my apartment for a walk through. They were in and out in three min. At least I got a cleaner place.
The garage is next!

Really sorry for the loss of your pet. Happened to me some time ago-went to animal shelter and rescued a kitten from a bad fate. Wonderful pet.

Sorry about your friend. It's hard to lose a pet especially during the holidays. I had to put down my seventeen yr old cat a couple years ago, on Xmas eve, not a pleasant thing at all. I can only hope they're all in a better place...

hey john!!

maybe.....look at it this way

if the rest of us had the willpower to have nothing but broth for a week....
we could all eat as many baked goods as we wanted over the christmas holly-daze....

yah....thats got to be the UPSIDE for you....um.... so while the rest of us start to whine around january fifth or so ...""my pants are too tight".... "my belt doesnt work anymore" .... blah blah blah ..... you will be on easy street thinking....
hhhmmmmm....broth isnt so bad after all........

whew! that was digging for a positive note wasnt it....

i hope you feel betterah soon, and that the post-surgery is kind to you.....

and blue? i'm so sorry to hear about your kitty....but i bet you got lots of curled-up-kitty-rub-lovies over the past twelve years... how nice is that.....

YIKES!!!! Oral surgery sucks!! ummmmmm.... well, you know what I mean!!! Enjoy the pain killer's at least. And the cars can be fixed ~ although I hate that your wife was driving them each time they messed up!!! Betcha she was mad!

Blue...sorry to hear about the kitty! I lost a Harry Kat last December. It always hurts... Hubby said we wouldn't have another one, so I started getting birds (have two parakeets and a cockatiel). Then, hubby lost the battle with the mice and HE decided the best deterrent for mice would be a cat...so we rescued a kitty from the animal haven (a no kill shelter). He's a sweety, but tooooooo interested in my birds! I think he already got one of my goldfish from the water garden!!

The foks at the shelter had named him "Mellow Yellow". I call him Mel or FuzzyButt....

John, sorry that the days been going bad for you.Man I hate it when the car breaks down with the wife driving it.And she dose not even push it home any more.
John, hang in there the wife will not stay mad for ever, sometimes it seems that way.
The clean the flor, and the surgery will only hurt until the pain gose away. Besides the cat was trying to take your mind off your teeth, what a nice cat you have.

Thanks guys and gals,
for all the caring remarks. I know a cat doesn't sound like much but we have had him as long as we have owned our house and he has seen 2 kids through high school, and he was the only kid left at home with me and the wife besides the dog outside.. My wife cried herself to sleep last night and I just tried not to think about it until I had to bury him today...then it hit me..

Merry Christmas everyone.

BLUESRTEEK,
I know how hard it is to lose a pet , as all pet lovers do. I guess my day wasn,t so bad after all, compared to what you guys have gone through. We went through it a couple of years back with a big bone-headed siamese cat named "KIWI". Things do get better as time goes by, you will also get and love another cat when you are ready. Keep a good thought and cherish the memories. Pets truly are a part of the family .

Sorry about your cat, Bluestreek and Mrs Bluestreek. Our cat is getting old, too, and we don't look forward to that day.

Losing pets sucks
I had to put down my German Shepard on my 21st birthday. One day when I have appropriate living space, I'll have another to share time with.
John, surgery sucks, and oral surgery is worse! At least you will be good for the X-mas feast!
