As some of you may know, my wife has been undergoing some major tests. She was slated for surgery on the 10th, but that got changed. Today, we got the results back from the biopsy that was done on the 4th. No cancer! She is still scheduled for surgery for the 17th of this month. Looks like it will be a hysterectomy - will find out more at the presurgery appointment on Thursday.Friday, the crew should finish the cleanup job from my broken water heater fiasco. Two and a half weeks since my last smoke. I may survive the month. ------------------ Motor Safe! OK, who added to the tunnel??? Doctor called tonight and postponed the surgery until sometime next month. I wish I could have talked to him. I'd have given him some choice words...I may call him up in the morning. If I post from the jailhouse, you know I got carried away - in both senses of the word. Got ... to ... stay ... away ... from ... the ... store ... and ... those ... cigarettes. George (PS Thanks for the kind words. It is nice to know that there are folks there for me even if it is only in spirit.)

Keep AWAY from the smokes, the best thing you can do is not smoke. It will be 3 years on Feb 7th - 2002, that I have quit. I smoked for 26 years , and , the last 8 of those years I was smoking 4, thats right, 4 packs per day. If I can quit anybody can. Great news about the non cancer. Take the money you would have spent on those cancer sticks , and , put it away, after awhile you will have a nice little bundle to do with what you want. If you don,t believe me, click on my "photo page" , the white one would not be there. It would just be a picture of SMOKE. Which would you prefer? The best thing , even above getting the 65 is my health is 1000% better. I CAN BREATH .
