We went up into the hills yesterday and cut down a tree from out favorite Christmas tree farm (its a wild one, controlled cut sort of place). Well its ~11' tall . Not as big as last years ~12' tall (correction from my other post, we had to cut the other tree shorter last year), 10' wide tree but below is a pic . For reference, the ceiling is 12' and the door frame is 7' . ------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 I6, Holley 2300, Clifford header, true duals w/ 26" Smithys 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% stock w/ no traction 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, another toy http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html

Looks great Tim. I do miss going out into the woods with my father and cutting our own tree. But I don't miss the snow. Don't forget to post a picture of the tree once it is decorated, please. Beautiful Tree Tim...Every year, our family and friends get together and cut trees... We take a pot of beans, hot dogs, choizos, hot chocolate, a little brandy,,, & head out into the hills...We always get a Pinion Pine,,, they SMELL soooooooo nice in the house... It always turns out to be a great day... Family & Friends,,, that is what Christmas is about... With all the snow (1.5'), we may have to take the snow mobiles... Becky and I only have two major arguments a year, #1 is when I have to pull all of the Christmas stuff down from the attic over my garage, and #2 is when I have to take it all down and put it back in the attic. We're still working on #1. Beautiful tree Tim Mike [This message has been edited by kcode (edited 12-03-2001).]

I love the smell of Christmas trees . Whats neat about this place is that we have been going there for so long that we get on invitation to come up in October and trudge through the forest and reserve a tree that we want. Then we just go up sometime in December and cut it down. I wish we had a taller ceiling, I saw an 18' one that I would have loved to have .------------------ Tim M&M Member #35 1965 Mustang coupe, 200 I6, Holley 2300, Clifford header, true duals w/ 26" Smithys 1988 Mustang GT AOD vert, 15.810 @ 88.871 mph 100% stock w/ no traction 1976 Silverline Comoro 18' trihull ski boat, 188 hp 302 I/O, another toy http://all.at/mustang https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/I65Stang.html [This message has been edited by I65Stang (edited 12-04-2001).]
