Watch a Focus burn out rear and front tires
Not the same car. I think the first rear wheel is with the V-8 conversion kit.
Yes it's a real kit!

Rumors are running about an SVT version of the Focus. Could be very interesting.

Ok I dont get the hole Focus thing.I dont really like the little car that much.Is it just me,or dose any else not like it too.
Dont get me wrong I like the fact its a Ford thats kicking some import butt. Whats there not to like about that. But as the car its self it dose nothing for me.Maybe it just needs a large wing, tes that would help.

I don't like the looks of it, and I wouldn't own one. But I hate econoboxes as a rule, anyway.

But it is kicking the imports butt, and that's a good thing.

OK! It may be a Cheeby but.... driving my 65 last week, a guy pulls up at lite in an early S-10. He looked at me and smiled. I said, Is that what I think??? Yep!! He launched across the intersection with probably a 350 and it was great!! Wouldn't want it but am open minded to others idea of fun!

LOL, mellowyellow, there is a fella in the area who crammed a 350 into an old nissan pickup. Thing runs 15s! LOL. On the other end of the spectrum though, there is a guy I constantly see at MIR who runs an old dodge raider with a 350 in her. And that little truck turns out low 13sec 1/4mi times. Kinda surprised me since it doesn't really make much noise. I've seen some crazy stuff in my area...there was that 85 diplomat with a hopped up 383....imagine pulling up to a light and having an old diplimat camming away at you wanting to race. At first I laughed....then I cried . lol.

Dave & Terri

The SVT Focus can legitimately challenge the Civic, Integra and Celica. The 170-bhp/145 lb.-ft. 2.0L Zetec engine produces 85% of peak torque at 2200 rpm. Interior features include titanium-faced gauges, six-way adjustable front seats, and metal pedals. New exterior body panels, and polished chrome exhaust tip distinguish the SVT Focus from lesser models. Production is limited to approximately 7,500 vehicles for 2002.
