Tim, Don't worry. You aren't the only one who had a bad day at work. I currently have a class of fourty two students. The day started off with a sexual harassment problem between two students. (Female to male) Followed by the class getting in trouble for talking while marching back from lunch. They aren't suppose to be talking at all while in ranks. Later in the afternoon, while checking on test scores, I returned to class just in time for racial slurs. This all happened today. What a day. Thank god it's the weekend. I don't think I could make it through another day without killing a student. Tim, if it makes you feel any better, try walking a mile in my shoes on a bad day at work. (Don't actually try!) As a Critical Care nurse I look after the sickest people in the West Health Area of Vancouver Island. Some get better and some die. Kids too with crying/screaming parents there. Sometimes I know them too. Sometimes the families blames the health care people (me)for the state of health of their loved ones, even though it was their choice to smoke/do drugs/drive drunk/overdose. I can not do a good or a bad job; I can only screw up. I worked 48 hrs overtime alone last pay period -yes, that is 48 extra hours on top of my regular 88 hrs for that particulr two weeks. The hospital even sent someone to my house to ask me to come to work as they had a patient ventillated with seven IV infusions and no trained staff left. I was on the internet (M&M) so they couldn't phone me. I went in. I have never ever had any manager or admin say 'thanks'- but I've caught **** for doing something I should not have done or didn't do something I should have done, many times. My wife (she works X-ray full time plus also) and I bought a 27 foot travel trailer to get away from the phone. I bought a ski pass to get out of town. Didn't mean to vent. How was your day, Tim? Dave
