Don,do you follow me around or what. I find myself telling my wife and family, friends about my (friends) on M&M.They look at me like you would look at some NUT JOB.Most of they say thats nice, maybe you need to get out more. Heck I have even started refering to myself as SCOOP. I was thinking the other night WHAT if there was only like 3-4 people with a bunch of different names on here.Just acting like a bunch of people,(ok so it was late at night the lights were out and every one was a sleep),and none of you were around. What else was I to do. My pops always telling why do you take there advice, you dont even know them.I made a big mistake on Thanksgiving telling my pops and family how many posts I had.Talk about a LOOK. Sorry for getting of track. Huh! It's not like that for me! Everybody knows I'm a Mustang fanatic. So when I reference y'all here at M&M, nobody even bats an eye! Then again, maybe it's the way I present the situation. When I refer to M&M in any way, I normally say "my internet Mustang buddies," or I'll say "the Mustang club I belong to on the 'net." Either one works well and people around here accept it as the norm. then again, maybe it's because they know who they're talking to! Stewart

What I like is when people ask me "So, how's that internet site you started?" and I know they expect me to say "Oh, that fizzled out..." but I'm able to say "Well, we're up to almost 1700 members and we get 50,000-60,000 hits a day." Then I tell them we're starting to plan our third annual get-together... ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 M code 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 open '72 Mustang Sprint Coupe 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Lok '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip '97 Probe GTS 2.5L DOHC My Photo Page Christmas shopping? Don, Yes, folks had that quizzical look in thier eyes when I talk about M&M. Now several of those folks are also members of M&M. Carole, Jimmy Ray and my father to mention a few. It may have taken some folks several months to get here, but it was well worth the effort. Stewart, Must people that know me on the base state that I am a certified Mustang nut. I get phone calls from folks saying so and so told me to call you and ask about it. I even had a senior chief (E-8) pull me out of a class last week just to take a look under the hood of the fastback. He wanted to buy the fastback but when I told him how much I wanted, he said thanks, but no thanks. Yeh, Most of my friends around here are Cheby guys,,, So, when we start talking cars, I'll always say something like,"According to the guys at M&M, this is what you should do"... They can't argue with me, because they don't know sh!t about Fords... That's when they give me the "whatsupwiththat" look... Someday their face is going to freeze like that... Oh Yeh,,, And I tell them about Mustangs with 289's running in the 10's,11's, and 12's... without juice... Again, the "whatsupwiththat" look... ------------------ Don '66 Brilliant Blue Fastback 302 with 5 speed We Will Never Forget Keep The Faith America

When I told my coworkers I was going to Commerce, GA to meet internet buddies, I got some serious looks. Then they all looked at Sandy to see what her reaction was. It was kinda funny. Everyone thinks if you're going to meet someone off the 'net it's cuz you're having an affair, or you're going to get whacked by some weirdo. Fortunately, we don't have any whackos!! Did I say any? I meant many. No not many...I mean...oh, forget it. The ones that don't get it, don't log on!! Steve, when are we going public?!??!
