What iritates me is that the #3 whined, bitched and moaned after the Twin 125 on how unfair it is to the Monte Carlos. Then Ned Jarrett comments that the Taurus's do have an advantage. Whats Nascar gonna do??????Mike IP: 63.10.71.64 |

Shocks and springs my friends. Nascar gave them all of the same ones to play with. Chebbie has a brand new car and FoMoCo does not, as Pontiac also. Nascar may revise the spring and shock rule, but GM stacked it's own deck on this one and even the great and powerful Mr. France won't change the body style. Yes keep in mind th 00 Monte is a new body..note the rear spoiler on the Daytona car..not straight across as last year due to deck lid shape...the Fords got a new nose and rear end..Pont..just a new nose...We'll see at the Rock how the shock/spring rule goes..Chevys should do better here with their package and ride height advantage...watch France give Chevy another 1/4 to 1/2 inch on the front Valance..or take away that from Fords..maybe add same to rear spoiler..Also keep in mind everyone will have another 100-150 hp to play with..no plate racing @ the Rock!! Come to think..the shocks/springs ran Sun are only(?) for SuperSpeedways..so they may run the old set-ups.. ------------------
