I may regret this but.....I will soon be offering Autolite Carb prep/reconditioning for M&M members at a reasonable price. Yes, I am going into competition with Pony Carb sort of. I am not soliciting publicly, just privatly for our membership. Pricing will be on a parts/labor needed basis as I am more interested in helping out our members than profiting. I will do 2 and 4 V carbs and offer limited high performance units outright.
I am activly seeking Autolite carb core donations or cheap sales also. The more cores and parts I can accumulate the cheaper I can do this. A portion of the profits (if any) will go towards the M&M website cost of opperations.
My goal is to eliminate as many Jimmy Carter units in our membership as possible. More details after the first of December.

I am certain that it is an Autolite 2100 series Ron. Ford used no other 2 barrels on passenger cars.

Cheap is as "next to nothing" Ron. I can use all Autolite cores, 2100, 4100, and 4300 for parts. Fozen is OK too.(thanks all) I will base pricing on time and material. I have to get a line on plating first as that seems to be the greatest expense. I usually don't replate the carbs that I rebuild as the cost has been very high to do so. I have already mass produced some mechanical secondary linkage pieces and have ordered several dozen quality kits. The need for the cores is to obtain boosters and choke housings. They wear out and corrode. Many two and four barrel Autolite parts interchange.

I wonder about the concours plating. Have seen them-they look nice but take a 2nd look after 10-15,000 miles.I have a hi-po air cleaner and it all but covers the carb on my car. A stock cleaner even more. I would think that most people on this site would not demand the gold and silver glitz.

What I can't stand is that tan paint Eastwood sells. It's not even close to what a carb should look like.

Think I'll stick with the natural look. The linkage and the base look good.
