Alex,How do you think this hood would look on my '66? Wish I was close to Ill. so I could set it on the car and see. I know the purists will hate it, but I am already modified.. Let me know.. Don, i just looked again at your fastback which is definitely a feast for the eyes! i remember when you said you were thinking of perhaps doing hood stripes (correct me if i am wrong! haha) and after looking at your car i think that a set of white GT side stripes would really accent your stang and make it stand out very nicely with the blue paint -- i dunno, just an idea that came into my head! and i was thinkin about alex's hood the same reason as you! i dont care about the purists with my car because i know that i wont be able to sell it as such even now with the engine parts im sticking on (dual outlet header, bigger carb, spoilers, side stripes, new seats, etc etc etc ) -- i wonder how the hood would look since my 65 is orange, maybe get a black trunk lid and paint the roof black haha actually that might look disgusting! have a good one and i apologize for the long post!!!! ------------------ Dan - and yes, I am still called "Dan Dan The Chevy Man" to this day! haha 1965 Coupe "BeeBop" Straight "6" 3-spd manual w/Hurst Shift https://mustangsandmore.com//ubb/TheIceman.html

Actually, I think this hood would look great on a coupe, but I can't imagine it on a fastback...Don ------------------ Previously Known As Don H McDonald Brilliant Blue 1966 2+2 https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/BigD.html

Kaylin, the "hunk" on the right is Tony (Capri) and the "hunk" on the left is Wes Davis one of our crew people and a fellow Mustanger with a 90 GT hatchback. Niether of whick look as good as I do. Don the hood would be equaly at home on a fastback as well as a coupe. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link
