I was thinking of selling my 69 Pro-streeter, where do I even start in finding it's resale value? Guess all I could do is get it appraised and use that as a ballpark figure. That really is not fair as they would go by an original cars value I would think. Basicly the car is new, you name it it has been replaced. Clean is not the word for it, you can eat off any part of this car top to bottom.
Still, im curious as to it value for resale. A car is really worth what one is willing to pay. I thought about running the car through the Barrett Jackson Auction next year in Scottsdale, AZ. If I sell the car I can always build another, I need projects to do to keep me busy or I drive my wife crazy....LOL

Selling any unusual item is best done by going where the buyers are and advertising in the publications they read. . Car shows, races, trader magazines, the nation wide ford trader magazine and newspapers within 500 miles that have a classic car want ad section, local speed shops and parts stores. It will take time.

It's an inside job. Fixing the value is yours. You and only you know what went into it and what it's worth to you.

Gary,
I hate the thoughts of you selling that car after all the work and effort you put into it, but to each his own. A Concours car would have a comparable value to another car just like it, but your Modified is a one and only one like it in the world. You must set the value, you are the only one that knows how much is in the car and what you have to have. The population of buyers will be restricted, you will have to advertise in special places.

Gary all cars are for sale for the right price.Set the price to cover cost plus labor. If you really want it to go.Look at other pro street cars and what they go for.I know here in Reno we have alot of modified cars for sale. They always seem less the you could build it for. Some times you past the point of no return,as far as money gose.It seems like a car like yours should be enjoyed for as long as can.Thats where you make up for any money loss.
