We have had the car sitting for about 1 year now with 1/4- 1/2 tank of gas, when it was parked. Dont know how much is left in there, but can we just put in some stabilizer and Fill the rest with new gas??? IS it to late for stabilizer . I dont think we are gonna drain it, so is stabilizer and 10 gallons of new gas good enough? We dont need to yet, but will in likea month. Please help

i bought a 61 falcon that was sitting in a guy's warehouse for 15 year's yes 15 year's. got it home and opened the gas cap
very strong smell of varnish put a battery in the car and gas gauge read 1/4 of a tank,i added 7 gallon's of gas to the tank
blew out the lines, and car started after priming the carb sveral time's ran rough
for awhile but everything was fine.ended up rebuilding the carb.then last year i put a 302 in it w/ c-4.car was mint,and interior was mint.it was the original owner. odometer
had 62,546....
