Bob, nice car! I have a soft spot for 66' coupes but with yours it doesn't matter. Love the whole thing from motor to paint! From the pic's I couldn't tell how you finished the exhaust but it didn't look like GT Trumpets. 2 1/2" straight through the valance? That's my plan.------------------ Candy Apple 66' Coupe 15" Styled Steel Wheels IP: 204.27.149.75 |

hey sprcoop. i want to install 21/2" pipe i purchased the trumpet's they are 1 7/8" seems like it will flow great until the exhaust gets to the tip,s then bang major traffic jam. i might end up cutting and adapting the tips for the 2 1/2 inch exhaust.. what did you do.IP: 152.163.197.48 |

You mention that you have the original 8" and added 4:10 gears in it. Does it have a locker, or limited slip? What steps did you take to convert it from an open differential? Interested to see how it works out with the C-4. IP: 207.227.51.187 |

hey amherst how's it going.tommy baldwin who own's baldwin automotoive, did the rear for me they are 410 gear's and he welded the spider gear,s(so it is like a locker)the car is not on the road as of yet(don't even have exhaust installed yet.i did take to west hampton drag strip, and ran time only 2 passes 1st one was a 12.90 and second one was a 13.02 street tires, traction is a problem going to install traction bars and sub frame connector's.if i can make there again this year,my friend is going to let me use his slick's..car is no animal but run's good for a street car.have a great day and talk to ya soon------------------ ponycar66,have you flown in a ford latley???????
