Can someone give me the color of the paint marks for the 65Gt front coil springs? Are they usually from top to bottom on the outside of the coil?

Rob- According to the source that I used, the color is Red 1 daub on each coil from spring saddle up. on outside. This is for a 65 GT without Ac . If the car has AC then the color is brown. My source is 64 1/2 - 73 Musstang Detailing Guide published by K>A> Helm. They have been publishing shop manuals for years. This guide can be purchased at major Mustang Parts Cos. The book gives a breakdown on different finishes for restoration.
