I have a '77 460 that I am rebuilding. I understand that these were smog motors and the heads are not that great for performance because of the large combustion chambers. I have the chance to buy a 429 out of a truck for $150. It needs a rebuild but it was running. I was wondering if the 429 heads are better than the 460 heads I have and if $150 for them is a good price?
Thanks!
