I need some help. I'm building a 74 351w for my 66cp. What rocker arms to use on the T.F. Twisted Wedge Heads. I got Perform roller rockers, But they won't put the roller in the center of the valve stem tip and have the pivot be within the required distence from the Guide plate, no matter whick pushrods are used. T.F. Tech department said that they have most thier problems with Perform roller rockers. Soo, Which rockers will work without draining the wallet? Has anyone else had these problems? 74 351w comp cams 268 grind, 10-1 compression quenched to .050.

I used Comp Cams roller rockers #1442 on my 351 with T.W. heads and slightly larger cam than you have.Just set 'em and forget 'em,no problems whatsoever after MANY passes at track.

Ford Motorsport (Crane) work perfect, but they are a bit pricey. The Perform stuff is absolut "JUNK"! I would rather have seen you use the Comp Magnum Jr. roller rockers instead of those. I have some 3/8 1.72 new Motorsports at a great price if that helps you out any. Alex

I think it will all work out. The place I bought the perform rockers from will refund the money and I have ordered Ford Motorsport Rockers from Summit that should be here on friday. I have had people want to buy the Profprm ones from me but "I don't sell junk" so I'll send them back!! I'm going with 1.6 rockers. Any other words of wisdom?? thanks.

Well the roller rockers arrived at home, the engine is at home. I'm 40 miles away until monday and I left the flex plate and the harmonic balancer at the engine shop, 60 miles in the oppisite direction. And waiting on a new staggered outlet radiator from Mustangs Plus. Guess I couldnt fire it if I had it together anyway.
