Do any of you have any tips for installing the rear window on a 55Ford pick up.SCOOP ------------------
oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 2.26 60'S

Hey Scoop!! Did you just get a 55??? I sold my 55 In Reno in sept! Whats the info on the truck. I wonder what happened to mine. I miss it!
As for tips on putting in the rear glass, I remember using vaseline and string and A LOT OF CUSS WORDS...LOL! Sounds funny...I will have to ask Hubby what we did, otherwise check out this site www.ford-trucks.com.------------------

No not mine it's my pops inlaw truck.I like to help me all I can.He's real good with cars,but not one to ask for help.So I'll seek it for him.

That's the way to do it. A thin nylon cord,lots of screwdrivers and putty knives,and some help. Patience,too.
