I just found out that Lightnings are now available in blue! When I bought my truck, the only reason I didn't buy a Lightning was because they didn't come in blue. I must be strong... I must be strong... I must be strong... I must be strong... ------------------

All they have on their web page for savable images are the red trucks, but I thought this was a cool shot. ------------------

Watched a new stock Lightning run in the mid 12s last Summer. Trick lookin trucks!! Pretty good on the skidpad, too. Better than a base Vette.Have I prodded enough yet?

I like what HotRod mag wrote a couple of years ago when they compared the Lightning to the Vette. (I'm paraphrasing): The Corvette slightly out-performs the Lightning in most catagories, but you can't haul plywood in a Corvette... ------------------ "It only takes money" Dwayne M&M Member #18 '94 Lightning #942 of 4007 '70 Mach1 2 '69 Cyclone Spoiler II's '65 Galaxie 500 + parts car

I saw a new Lighting beauty last summer at MMMP. It was black with killer ghosted flames that were of that paint that changes colors (...what was that called again?). Anyways, he was running deep in the 11's (with a healthy shot of giggle gas).....then it happened; the engine lost the entire bottom end at mid-track!!!! What a mess and what a shame.... just goes to show ya what that stuff will do if you get crazy with it
