Looks nice. I'd check the price though, seems high for a '92.

Be sure to stock up on wheel bearings and U-joints.

I think I'd stay away, even though I like big trucks. Half tons really can't take tires that big. Wheel bearings,U-joints,radius arms, and on and on just aren't strong enough. I'd say 33's are max on an F-150. You also don't want to get into someone else's mickeymouse job on the lift, especially at 9". look for big blocks on the rear axle,{a big NO} and drop brackets on the front radius arms and TTB.

What are the lift laws in your state? You may not even be able to drive it legally. Some go by bumper, headlight,or frame height, assigned to a specific GVWR range.

In Maine,it's 28" to the bumpers up to 6000#,and no mods at all with ABS.

I would take a good look at it in person. Pricewise it isn't bad, and it looks pretty good. I did notice in the picture that the fenders have been trimmed, might not be a big deal to Jason.

Definitely drive the truck. Sometimes the big tires can be hard to handle. It might ride too rough for your liking, might not have the performance you are looking for, etc.

I drove a lifted F150 on 36s or 35's for 5-6 years. I never had any trouble with it. It had a Rancho 4" lift with a 3" body lift. I think in the 110,000 miles I put on it, U-joints were only replaced twice.

Good luck!

Tom

i had a 73 Bronco with 39's ...it was lotsa fun, i broke the Dana 44 front gears (4.88's)a lot ...i bought more gears for it in 2 years than Sam will buy if he lives another 10,000 years!

As for the rest of it, driving style should be adjusted, it's not a sports car, it's a top heavy truck with enough tire grip to bust spindles and bend axles if driven foolishly.

Mike in Va if your running "regular" Va Plates it 27 inches bumper height..note cars are the same...

However the height law are vague and one can get around most of them..

For Hire tag you can go 37 inches

TS tage..extra cost no limit but must have valid reason for use..Towing ,Contruction..ect

Problem is he love that dang Blazer and won't part with it..paid $2400 several years ago and I know he had beat the heck out of it..not to mention the 383 motor in it..350 with a 400 crank..cam,headers,intake ect...LOL....dfang hot rod turck.

This is a ricer killer..exhaust is set up to point right into a ricer window so no matter how loud the music you only hear Flowmasters

I'll have to get a pic of this thing...redneck 4x4 for sure
