I got some stuff from the place I bought my wheels and tires. It's out in the shed, so if I remember, I'll see what it's called tomorrow. You might stop by a wheel and tire shop and see what they have for aluminum polish.

Ok, the stuff I bought is called Hollywood's showshine metal polish. It worked pretty good on my aluminum wheels. I bought the smallest bottle I could, it goes a long ways.

I use Autosol metal polish and a rag wheel. Works great!

I tried the Nevrdull and it didn't do the job and I also tried 3 different type of waxes. Some told me I should try a real fine sand paper and wetsand it. I think I will try that. Thanks David

Careful! You will cut scratches into it,even with a 2k grit. I'd keep trying polishes first, till I find one.

I would try really fine steel wool with a polish on it, or a really fine scotch brite pad should work too. I used one (red scotch brite) on some really bad looking aluminum slots and it got the heavy stuff off fairly fast. Then the polish on a rag shined them right up. I like to use Maquires aluminum polish for almost everything (wheels, door panels on the racer, etc.)

Stay away from the steel wool! Small pieces of the steel can imbed themselves into your aluminum and become ugly red rust spots. I have seen it happen and it is not pretty. The scotch brite is a great idea.
