A 66 Galxie 500 conv. with 4-speed & what i think is a 390 but don;t know exactly how to tell for sure, anyone help?
if its a 390/4-speed i thought it would be worth the 100 bucks for the mill before its crushed.
Some trim, tail lights if anyone needs small parts let me know

That's too bad, that sounds like it was a sweet car in it's day.

Read this thread, IDing your engine would be the same procedure:

Okay, from a Petersen Ford book I have, that covers '54-72 engines, there are 8 engines listed for 1966.
1 - 352 - which I believe were mostly in trucks - 9.3 cr; 250 hp/352lb/ft - 4v
2 - 390 9.5 cr; 275 hp; 405 lb/ft - 2v
3 - 390 10.5 cr; 315 hp; 427 lb/ft - 4v
4 - 390 11.0 cr; 335 hp; 427 lb/t - 4v
5 - 427 11.0 cr; 410 hp; 476 lb/ft - 4v
6 - 427 11.0 cr; 425 hp; 480 lb/ft - 2-4v
7 - 428 10.5 cr; 345 hp; 462 lb/ft - 4v
8 - 428 10.5 cr; 360 hp; 459 lb/ft - 4v

Hope this helps.
