Great picture Alex. I had no idea that someone had stuffed a 427 into a coupe. I know that Ford had Hollman-Moody do the 15 AFX '65 Fastbacks. Now to own one of those 15 Mustangs! Dave, If I remember, if only I could remember, I think that one of Alex's Chicago neighbors, Ron Pellegrini from Oaklawn was one of the first to stuff a 427 wedge into a coupe. It had a one piece tilt front end and about a 10% set back on the block. I seen it run once at either Gary Indiana or Martin Mich. Ten second cars were rare in 1965.Mike, one of the older farts

I always thought that a 66 T-Bird Landau, black with a white vinyl top and factory KH wire wheels would be the coolest tow car for MM on an open trailer. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
