Does anyone know if the bumper and grill assemblies are interchangeable between the 1971 and 72 LTD's. The 71 has the open front center grill and the 72 has the bumper running straight across the center grill.
Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, does any else have an 71 or 72 LTD?

Thanks,
Bob

Sorry for the slow response, Bob!

The cars sure look identical, don't they? I'm sorry I can't tell you for sure.

I'm going to look at a '71 Vert on Monday. I was talking to its current owner earlier. He claims that their bumpers are the same and swapable. (and unfortunately he said the bumper on his has some rust) He didn't mention the grille assembly. I'd imagine it'd also be the same. If I think about it while I'm there on Monday, I'll ask him if he knows and pass the info along.
