I have some ?s about my 69 fairlane 500 formal roof.

1. what is the biggest known wheel and tire combinaion that the stock rear fender weels will accept?

2.does any one know of a manufacture who make sub frame connectors for the 69, or of some body who can do them make them

3. my father has a 69 rachero with a 351w and has had a hell of a time finding LTs headers to fit it, does any one know of a manufacurer that make these headers.

I run 295 50 15's on the back of mine on 15x8's with 4.5" backspacing. They are tight! and do rub on the leaf spring ever so slightly. 275's would give you some breithing room.

For headers, I run FPA's they are very nice.

I just sent you an email in reply to you with regards to the frame connectors.

Or you can wait forever and 1 day and I'll see your post.

I've been busy wheeling my Jeep in Colorado and Motorcycling in South Dakota, but I'm back now.

I run a 275/60-15 drag radial on the rear of my '68. It's a tight fit and required a second set of custom made style steel wheels to get right. Even now I get rubbing on the pass side if I'm not carefull. Unfortunately these cars weren't put together perfect so it's tighter on the pass side than the drivers side. Looks great with those rugs on it though.

As for the frame connectors I'm not sure. From what I remember in the past there were some that were supposed to fit but didn't. Making a set looks pretty straight forward but I haven't done it yet, maybe this winter.

Hooker also makes a set of headers to fit the 351W. Should be 6116's. I am not at all impressed with my Headman's I have on the 289. The Summits I have on the 302 in the wagon fit way better and don't leak like the Headmans. I'm in need of some bigger tubed headers anyway so the 289 headers will be getting replaced soon.

HTH,
B-loose
