I am wondering if anyone could tell me what this tranny could be sold for at a swap meet or in the classifieds.It came in my 68 mustang when I got it ( not stock). The car is originally an auto car so thats what I put back in it.
Well anyway back to the tranny.
I decoded it as:tag# RUG-AH 1969 Torino 351 close ratio 1st:2:32 2nd:1:69 3rd:1:29 4th:1:00 I havent opened it up to look at it .mainly cause I dont know what to look for.I did notice a small flat spot worn on the input shaft.I also have a Hurst competition plus shifter and linkage rods.

really depends on what shape it is inside... even as a parts core it is worth $200 but it's the sort of deal that if it needs $800 worth of parts to make work again nobody would be willing to pay much.

Assuming only normal wear ,average may be $350-$400 i'd guess.
