i have a 70' mav, will the 351 heads fit in easily with the space i have? any suggestions on headers to use with them that will fit? also would tall valve covers fit on top of 'em?(i don't know how tall they actually are)

the 351w heads are the same phisical size as the 302 heads. there should be no problems with the headers. i think the 351 has bigger headbolt holes though. you may have to use a shouldered bolt but im not really sure. im sure someone else will answer that for you. good luck------------------ mike r racing is real everything else is just a game. 81 capri-302-7.29 @92mph 1/8 1.54 60 ft. http://community.prestage.com/Member+Pages/789.aspx M&M member #839

thanks, when out and looked at my motor, and if the heads are physically the same size then that answered my valve cover question. another one related though, what's the stock ratio of rockers in 302's (1.6 right?) and 351's(are they same as 302?)[This message has been edited by itzli (edited 02-10-2005).]
