This month we honor Charlie's excellent Grabber! Maverick make great hot rods, and one of the best 'bangs for the buck' street machines out there. Take a look at Charlie's excellent web site and you'll see what I mean: http://www.geocities.com/cping3/newindex1.html Also, Charlie is a heck of a good guy who can usually be found keeping the guys in the Small Fords and Mercurys Forum awake. Congrads Charlie! ------------------

I can't believe it! Thanks Steve! The Maverick is always getting more than its fair share of driving, and I just got a new job with a 30 mile interstate commute so I'll be putting that new 5th gear to use a lot more .

Some pictures of the MAV in action: MMP, best time/ET of 13.06@106 with a 2.0 60' Autocross event, I wasn't the class of the field but I did beat a 98 Camaro http://www.auburn.edu/~pingiii/donuts.jpg The famous donut shot It's also a daily driver, so it doesn't rest long If you think these pictures are better than the one you used on the front page Steve, you can definitely use them. I need some normal shots of higher quality on my site, but it just hasn't happened yet.

Hmmmm. I don't have any pictures better than above. But the 1970 Grabber is blacked out to the tip of the spoiler. Under the trunk, the masking line goes to the corner of the trunk opening. The 71-2 Grabbers had just the taillight panel blacked out and the spoiler was all body color. Check my photo archives at http://archives.maverickgrabber.com I would link them but geocities won't let me ------------------ -Charlie Ping 1970 Maverick Grabber [email protected] with AC and overdrive. http://www.maverickgrabber.com
