I got my Lokar cable today, fit fine, bolted right up.
workin on the tranny shifter cable now...
I've got to make some custom mounting brackets and a few connections...

I would like to hear how well it works compared to the old setup (tv rod?). Are the Lokar cable and tranny shifter cable two different items? Maybe I'm just tired and it will make sense tomorrow.

yea, its the Lokar TV cable, replaced the 85 rod.
I didn't get the Lokar shifter cable, I'm going to have to make it at least somewhat custom, most Lokar stuff is Mustang specific, I'm running a column shifter...

hopefully it'll be better than it was, the stuff they've been putting in gas lately has my mpg going down...
wonder if that has anything to do with the engine running warmer?
alchohol mix gas in a low compression engine?
how's your Grabber doing? get that miss fixed?

Yeah, the stumble is gone!! went through the carb and re-jetted leaner from my drag setup; after checking plugs they looked too rich (although tailpipe wasn't too sooty). It's back on the road and running well! I just need a new front caliper and my clutch is making some noise now
