what water pump works while ditching the stock power steering pump? just plannin on using the AC, alt and waterpump.
isn't it 84ish Crown Vic?
is it aluminum?
I'm buying the power/manual adapter, pulling the waterpump for replacement, dropping the pump, powersteering slave cylinder, etc.
until my arms give out that is...
hell, I'm not that big anymore, I need the workout.

1990 Crown Vic. There are two options (in the parts books anyway), the aluminum one and the cast iron. The cast iron has all the mounting points for PS and AC, the alunimum does not. (In other words, there are no threaded inserts in the aluminum WP).

Look and see how your AC bracket attaches, if it uses only pump bolts you should be able to make the aluminum one work. If it uses the threaded bosses on the WP then you'll need some fab work to make it happen.

Hope this cures your overheating problem I use the alumnium pump with AC but I have a custom setup.

Yep, you couldn't run the same front cover otherwise. Trucks & Stangs are reverse but the good old Crown Vics are old-school
