The car that started it all... The Mustang, Maverick, Comet, well maybe not it all but a sizeable chunk of it. I deleted this image because it was slow. I like the sport model(Phat Falcon's)better. It only has 2 doors and none of that silly writing on the side.Wonder if it's a numbers matching car like my '62?------------------ "Just Falcon Around" 1962 Falcon 351W 1958 Morris Minor 289

Hey, thanks for the comments. Yes, it is a numbers matching car. The front license plate matches the rear license plate! It's been a fun year with "NELIE". Top 50 pick out of 2900 cars at the Pumpkin Run here in Owensville, Ohio. I especially liked the burnouts at the close of the three day event. This PhatFalcon repaved some of the state route running by the fairgrounds as many others did. One of these days I want to see Just Jim's Falcon. I'm sure it's another "numbers matching" car!

i learned to drive in a little 62 falcon...3 on the tree.....it was my older brothers...it was originally the blue us southerners refer to as "pepsi blue" (the blue in the old pepsi logos) but daddy painted it bright yellow with black rocker panels, and we affectionately named her the "BUMBLEBUZZ". one fun thing i loved is the wiper speed would react to the accelerator....we giggled over that alot. brother sold the car to my cousin, my uncle restored her perfectly and cousin totalled it on the way home from school one day when snow and ice cancelled everything...she wrapped it round a tree after slidin on ice... it still breaks my heart.... kk

My first car was a 61 like me! It was black two door with a blown 144.4ci. I wanted to paint it orange and black but my dad painted it red with a white top (my school colors). Ilearned a lot with and in that car it wasn't that differant than my 65 Mustang except for engine.I used to drag race my buddy'd 6 cyl nova in the school parking lot. No one even knew we were moving! Just kidding about the blown part of the engine.boy could she fly at 56 MPH. I also saw a t-bird fly on TV last night Thema and louse way cool at the end.Never driven a Falcon?? don't know what yer missin------------------ WAYNE CURTIS WASILLA AK 70 GRABBER GREEN BOSS 302 65 PRARIE BRONZE 2+2 289 92 SHELBY 4X4 (K-9 IDITAROD LEAD DOG) 92 DODGE CLUB CAB CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL 6X6 http://www.volstate.net/~blackoak/stormwatch.html
