Hello fellow cougar owners. Thought I would hook up with you all to swap cougar info when needed. Really nice site. My tinkertoy (kids named it "Sonic") is a 70 hardtop, sky blue exterior, black interior. Had a 351 windsor in it at first, but I really have a fancy for clevelands (not because I live in Ohio). I'll try and get a site with some pics later on. Motor (proud of it) is as follows:

4 bolt block bored .030, deck at 9.195
TRW domed pistons for CR of 13.5
Reed solid cam with .612E/.626I lift
72 4V HO heads modified for solid lifters
9425-DA low rise dual plane ported intake
holley 830DP (spearminting with 850DP also)
MSD 7AL-2 ignition / dizzy
4:11 detroit rear
C6 tranny with shift kit

Anyway, It'll be nice to chat with other folks that enjoy Fords kitty kats.

Hello, and welcome!

You will definitely find a wealth of info around here. I know I have!

Sounds like you have got a good combo there. My 70 has a 4 bolt Cleveland with a c6 and 4.11 gears, too!
