My little brother just traded a Nissan engine for a cougar body and gave it to me cause I'm crazy about Fords.

I'm not sure what model it is because there was no paperwork. It has a C-4, 8" rear, and no motor. How do I tell what model it is??

I'll try to post a pic.

Thanks for posting the pic Rick.

Here is a quick list of important parts that are missing.
1.Rear bumper, bumpermounts, and valance.
2.badges and emlems.
3.Front windshield.
4.Rear windsheild chrome trim.
5.Drivers side window regulator.
6.Lower trunk latch assy and key.

Interior is black and seems to be all there including a really nice center console. The original shifter was replaced with a B&M ratchet shifter and the bezel indicator is missing. Both doors open and shut good. The keys are missing. The roof was once vinyl I think, because there are little holes where the trim goes around the rear of the top.

The good news is I have a '73 that has a complete Cleveland drivetrain, working AC, disc brakes, and some other nice parts, so I may turn this into a resto-mod. Because of several other projects I have going, I'll just be collecting parts for the time being and I'm gonna try to trace down the person that was working on it and see if I can find any of the parts that are missing. It's never been wrecked, so they may be still parts laying around somewhere.

Thanks for your support,
Dan

Cool, a grrl that know's her Cougar's. I like it, my wife does too, I bought and built her a 68 Fairlane Fastback, and she does most of the maintenance on it, so I can concentrate on my Cougar.
