Hey All, I thought I'd post an update to see if anyone home. I always stop in and don't see many new posts here. Anyway I wetsanded wvcat yesterday and she is getting close to paint. I sanded the eliminator stripes off and am thinking I might not put them back on but I haven't decided for sure yet. I figure by next weekend she will be ready for paint.I'm still not sure she is going to end up either but I'm sure there is a change in the works. The colors I'm considering are light metalic blue, dark metalic blue, silver, blue pearl over white base coat, shelby blue (67) or viper blue. I probably won't know until I look at chips. Hey KK, I could take measurements for you but my car is not an original eliminator and the spoiler is a repo. You may know this but on a 70 the inside of the trunk has holes cut out to allow the access to the spoiler bolts and 69's don't have them. If you know someone close to you with a 70 you may want to look inside there trunk lid to see the noles and get a measurement to the center of the hole. When I'm down in the garage tommorrow I'll take some measurements for you. BTW I picked a custom color from a sherwin williams rod & custom color fan. Its saphire blue, its kinda like a royal blue on steroids. It has pearl and metalic in it but the metalic is small flakes. I also picked up some silver for stripes. John wvcat
