Hi All, I figured you would get a kick out of this story.I probably should not be telling this story,so let's keep it between us.I have to modify the story, because I don't want to get anyone in trouble.I went for a ride in a 2002 Cobra prototype. The only reason the car can be driven is because it is a drivetrain prototype and looks like every other 2001 Cobra on the road. The car is equpped with a 4.6L 4 cam engine and six speed trans. The engine is still being tweaked but at the moment it is putting out 380hp at the rear wheels. The car uses a supercharger like the one on the current Lightning,it puts out 8 lbs.Of boost.Let's just say it was very impressive in terms of power and handling.Later

pony boy,
Thanks for the information. I have been hearing about several Special editions to be prototyped soon.

The first is the MACH 1, which has a Shaker Hood. The second was code named 'Terminator' and featured a Supercharged 2V or 4V engine. A 6-Speed huh? Excellent!

Any pics you can share with us?
